Lady Rhea’s Murder
Lady Rhea Royce was Daemon’s woman, and we're introduced to her character in person for the veritably first time in the “ House of the Dragon. ” Till now, we had only heard about Daemon’s dislike towards her and how he didn't leave any opportunity to undermine her presence in his life. The Vale of Arryn was going on a quest when Daemon came in front of her. She was surprised by seeing him in Vale, as she didn’t anticipate that. Daemon and Rhea hadn't perfected their marriage as the former noway wanted to have a baby with her. Daemon had been asked to leave lords wharf by Viserys, and his offer to get wedded to Princess Rhaenyra was also put down by the king. Daemon had arrived with a purpose. Rhea saw it in his eyes that he wanted to hurt her. She wanted to pull her arc and arrow, but before she could do that, Daemon pulled the halter of her steed and made her fall to the ground. It sounded like Daemon would walk out, but formerly again; Rhea instigated him. Daemon picked up a gravestone and killed the Lady of Runestone there and also. It can not be said for sure that Daemon came to kill her. perhaps he'd have left if Rhea hadn’t touched off him, or perhaps not. But one thing is for sure Daemon didn’t value his relationship, and it didn’t count to him if she lived or failed. For the longest time, the Targaryen prince was in a lawless relationship with Mysaria. Now, his desire to be with Rhaenyra supplanted everything differently in his life. It felt like he was ready to put everything at stake if it could get him married to the heir at law to the Iron throne. Viserys always allowed that he wanted to marry his daughter only because she had been named the heir at law. But that wasn't true. The relationship that Daemon participated in with Rhaenyra was veritably peculiar in its way. Both of them authentically liked each other and wanted to make a future together.
A Deal Between Rhaenyra And Laenor Velaryon
Viserys sailed to Driftmark to offer her daughter’s hand to the son of Lord Corlys. Viserys was in a deplorable state. He knew that he wouldn’t be suitable to survive for long. His injuries weren't healing, and now the infection had spread to nearly the entire body. Viserys just wanted to form an alliance with the strongest house in the seven fiefdoms. He was skeptical as his relationship with Lord Corlys had taken a strike after he refused to marry his daughter, Laena Velaryon. Lyonel Strong, the new hand of the king, who had replaced Otto Hightower, had suggested to him that, from a political viewpoint, it would be the stylish decision to get Rhaenyra married to Laenor. Lord Corlys was a shrewd man. Before getting his son married to Princess Rhaenyra, he wanted to know if their children would have his surname or not. Viseyrs agreed to the proposition. He said that the children would have the surname Velaryon, but the one who would sit on the Iron throne would take the title of Targaryen. Lord Corlys felt that it was a fair deal and hence accepted the offer.
Rhaenyra knew that Laenor, too, like her, didn’t want to marry. She knew of his inclinations and loves. The scuttlebutt that Laenor Valeryon was in a homosexual relationship with Joffrey Lonmouth was true. Rhaenyra took the opportunity and went for a walk with Laenor. She made him understand that they both couldn’t do much about the decision that their fathers were going to make, but what they did after that was their appanage. Rhaenyra told him that he didn’t have to ramify ties with his love interest, and neither would she. Laenor liked the arrangement, and it was presumably the stylish he could ask for. Rhaenyra had indulged with Ser Criston Cole, and she wanted to keep doing it indeed after her marriage. Also, Daemon’s involvement in her life was a pivotal factor behind her extending that kind of offer to Laenor.
The Guilt Of Queen Alicent Targaryen
Otto Hightower was leaving Lord's wharf as Viserys read through his intentions and didn’t want him to serve at the hand of the king. Alicent had gone to Viserys and witnessed Rhaenyra, and that had led to her father being expelled from his position. Alicent felt shamefaced, but she did what she felt was right. She valued the presence of Rhaenyra in her life and always allowed her as a veritably good friend and confidante. Rhaenyra had sworn that she didn’t indulge with Daemon that night, and Alicent believed it to be true. Lord Larys Strong, son of Lyonel Strong, came and sowed the seed of dubitation in Alicent’s mind. He called Alicent a stranger amidst the natives and told her that to thrive, she had to be veritably politic in her approach. He revealed to her that the Grandmaster had given Rhaenyra Moon tea on the orders of the king. Alicent knew that Moon Tea was a kind of contraceptive, and if Rhaenyra was given that, it meant that she had indulged with notoriety. Though, until also, it hadn’t come to her mind that it could be notoriety differently, other than Daemon. Alicent wanted to enquire further about the issue. She called Ser Criston Cole to her chambers as she allowed that he'd be suitable to tell her commodity. At this point, Criston Cole was laden with guilt. He felt that he'd committed an unethical act. Alicent asked him if he knew anything about that night when Daemon was in lords wharf. Criston Cole wasn't allowed with a straight mind, and he allowed that, laterally, the Queen was condemning him. So he stood up and accepted that he'd indulged with the Princess and told Alicent that he was ready for any kind of discipline. Alicent is taken suddenly at this point. She didn’t see the disclosure coming. This was a pivotal point in the history of King's wharf. Up until now, Alicent was the strongest supporter Rhaenyra could ask for. She valued the fellowship and kept her in high regard. She had gone against her father and stood up for her friend. But now Alicent realized that the words her father spoke made some sense. Otto had told her that Viserys would die sooner rather than latterly and Rhaenyra would be made Queen. He'd suspected that the general crowd would question her claim to the Iron throne, as they weren't used to seeing a womanish take charge of effects. He said that indeed if Rhaenyra was unintentional at that time, she'd have to take an active way to remove everybody who had a probable claim to the throne, which would mean that she'd ultimately kill Aegon, Alicent’s son. The evidence of Ser Criston Cole had made Alicent reevaluate her strategies, her faithfulness, and her perspective on effects.

As always, Daemon also arrived at the marriage unannounced, and there was pressure in the air. Ser Criston Cole was standing as a silent onlooker, however, there was a huge drift rising on his inwards that wanted to inflict annihilation.
